Motivational Monday #2!

Hi guys, I do apologise for the lack of posts but I have been quite busy lately! Despite being busy I thought I would take time out of my Monday to share my motivational quote for this week with you all!

I chose this quote because I was watching Talia (taliajoy18 on Youtube) on the Ellen Show on Youtube and she said that, despite her cancer and what the doctors tell her, a little fishy once told her to just keep swimming! And she's right! You can't let something stop you in your tracks just because it brings you down or isn't what you want to hear or see! You just have to fight through everything and get past all of the bad things because one day in the future you don't want to look back and think, "Why did I get upset about that?". I do this too. I'm definately not perfect, but now I have written this post, I am going to practice what I preach!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I will see you soon in my next post!

OOTD - 03/04/2013 - Spring is near!

Hi guys, so today I was going to see family and I wanted to dress casual but still nice and whilst I was deciding what to wear this morning I was looking out of my window at the sun! All I could think in my head was - "YES! Spring is finally here, after months of snow!" It was still chilly but I was going to wear Spring and Summer colours if it killed me! I really liked the way my outfit was tied in with Winter and Spring at the same time so I thought I would share it with you all!

First of all, I wore my makeup really natural with big, black eyelashes and my hair was in a high, messy pony tail: I've been liking this look a lot recently!

*(Click any picture to enlarge them!)*

On top I wore this sheer, rainbow, tribal muscle tank that I bought from George at Asda last Summer and I absolutely love it! Obviously because it is sheer, I had to wear a black tank underneath from Primark. It's so nice and I always get complemented on it a lot! On top of that I am wearing this faux leather bomber jacket with gold studding on the shoulders also from George.

On the bottom I wore these grey skinny jeans, (they are a little bit big!), which I got from Next. I love them so much and I had to wear a skinny, black belt with them but you can't see that! Also I wore these black pumps from Next, also. The picture of my pumps was taken for a different OOTD on my old blog sorry! So the pants are black in that photo!

Then for accessories I kept it simple by not wearing any bracelets and necklaces but I did wear a silver, pinky ring from my Mum and I blinged out my ears! On my left ear I wore a fake ear stretcher, which was black and white tribal print and was purchased from Matalan: I love it so much! And on my right ear I wore a silver, diamond stud with a silver, Buddha ear cuff from New Look.

So finally, on my nails I wore Sally Hansen's Fuchsia Power and, on my forth finger, I put dots of Mint Cream by ELF. I love this combination! It's perfect for Spring!

That's it for today's post! I hope you all enjoyed it and I will see you either tomorrow or on Friday!

My Perfume Collection!

Hi guys, so the other day I posted a video on my channel all about my perfume collection which you can watch below. But I thought it would be nice to do a blog post so you can see them a bit clearer! I do want to say what I said in my video before we begin, I have only bought a couple of these perfumes and the rest I got as gifts from family and friends over quite a few years, that is why I have so many!

Lets get started!

The first two perfumes I have are the only boxed ones I have. I kept the boxes because they are really pretty and they are my all time favourites which I will repurchase over and over again.

*(Click on any of the photos on this post to enlarge them and see them clearer!)*

Left to Right: Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears and Taylor Swift  Wonderstruck

The next set of perfumes are for travelling or for a night away occasion and they are just smaller perfumes to take along with you:

A Berry and an Apple fragrance stick from Claires, Next's Rock Couture  Rollerball and Outspoken Intense by Fergie.

The next selection of perfumes are new to my collection and weren't in my video as I just got them yesterday from my Mum:

L to R: Clinique's Happy To Be and Flower by Kenzo
The next two that I have were both given to me for Christmas in different years and I think I will do a review on both of them because I have a lot to say about them, (watch the video to see a mini review of them and all the other perfumes).

L to R: Twilight Immortal perfume and shower cream/wash and Kylie Minogue Dazzling
Darling perfume and body lotion.

Then I have the girly, flirty and flowery perfumes in my collection, (I kind of have a lot!). I usually wear these in Spring and Summer but not always.

Next Just Pink Love, Hannah Montana (no other name just that), Lacoste Touch of Sun and Touch
of Spring, Butterfly by M&S, and an old Snow White perfume
Then I have my Autumn and Winter scents which are a bit heavier and more musky but still girly.

Avril Lavigne Black Star, Harajuku Lovers G, So...? Kiss Me, Next Just RED,
Christina Aguilera BY NIGHT, Mary - Kate and Ashley NYChic Body Mist.

I hope this cleared everything up and I will do some reviews on some of these perfumes in the future, maybe introduce fragrance Friday to my blog? You decide!

Motivational Monday #1!

Hi guys, so I was thinking of something that I could do weekly or every other week here on my blog, so I decided to jump on the Motivational Monday bandwagon! Basically, motivational Monday means that I share a motivational quote and explain why I like it or what I think it means to get us motivated so we can get  through the week ahead, together!

I love this quote so much because it is so true. I love that even though it was written by an adult in a book which stunned the nation and was an amazing, amazing film, called The Help, it is quoted by a child of a very young age, which is taught to her by her nanny. The whole book is about black women in the 60's and how they changed the way that black maids, women especially, are treated by white families, when racism was a huge issue. I love this quote also because it shows that whoever you are, you are important and special and you can pretty much do anything that faces you. I think that addressing this quote by a child makes it even more special and memorable too, and it might have a bigger effect on you!

That is what I think of this quote and I will carry on doing these every week or every other week. I hope this quote will help you get through your week! Hope you enjoyed! Happy April!
